Titles including 'The Expendables' and 'Rambo 4' will now be transformed into content for the lucrative online gambling market.

Skyrocket Entertainment, the online gambling film rights company that launched in Cannes in 2018, has acquired the international rights to a number of major Hollywood movies following a deal with Millennium Media.

The package includes films such as Rambo 4, The Expendables and the Fallen franchise, which will now be transformed into gaming content and products, such as slot machines, and migrated into the worldwide online gaming sector, an industry valued at $52 billion this year.

Following several distribution and output deals recently secured with online gaming platform operators, Skyrocket will ensure global reach for the film-branded gaming content within regulated markets including the U.K., Malta, Eastern Europe, Russia/ CIS and Asia across more than 350 gaming sites. Skyrocket will also oversee the game-building, certification and distribution of these titles to create products with established worldwide audiences for gambling games such as slots, instant games, bingo and lotto.

Production of the film-branded gaming content will commence in May with delivery slated for 2020. The deal was struck between Skyrocket CEO Sean O’Kelly and Millennium Media president Jeffrey Greenstein.

“We are excited to be working with Millennium Media, adding the crown jewels of their library to the Skyrocket slate for this innovative venture," said O'Kelly. "Millennium recognized the value and vast potential of this new revenue stream from day one and we’re looking forward to creating fresh and immersive gaming experiences around these well-loved films, which resonate with existing but also new audiences worldwide."

To coincide with the 10th anniversary ( !!!) of the production, I'm re-sharing my set visit report on a new Medium account where I'll share more of my past and present writings on Dolph and his career:

Sylvester Stallone Came Up With the Story for Upcoming Graphic Novel ‘The Expendables Go to Hell’!
https://bloody-disgusting.com/comics/36 ... s-go-hell/
The story comes directly from Sylvester Stallone himself, who has teamed with Chuck Dixon and artist Graham Nolan, among others, to bring the hellish and insane vision to life.

The Expendables are an international team of mercenaries led by Barney Ross (Stallone), and the storyline sees the team killed in combat. Shortly after, they awaken in Hell.

That 50-page main story will be accompanied by three side-quests:

THE BRIDGE– Barney Ross is stunned to find the soul of his still-living friend Tool, trapped in Hell! Art by Jason Johnson (TEAM 7).
CHRISTMAS IN HELL– Lee Christmas is lured away from the team just when they need him most! Art by Kelsey Shannon (NORAH’S SAGA)
BARBARIAN’S HOLIDAY– Gunner Jensen makes the most of a bad situation! Art by Butch Guice (DOCTOR STRANGE).
The graphic novel, which is currently more than 500% funded with over $50,000 raised at the time of writing this article, is expected to begin shipping out in May 2020.

I lost track of comic-books for a couple of years, but I (personally) think these drawings are just average :(

I've never been a comic book reader than for research. The concept that the Expendables wake up in hell sounds really cool and interesting though.

Apparently Sly didn't even pitch it as a movie sequel because he "knew it would never get made", but you can only imagine what a crazy film it would/could be.
