I know, it's hard not to get excited. For once I was going to say I am speechless but..nah I'm not...

This could be one of the best action movies of all time, can you imagine the posters for the movie, a poster with them all on it and then separate character posters with STALLONE, LUNDGREN, LI, STATHAM at the top. Dolph is joining his old pal and some new action heroes he hasn't worked with before.

I prayed for the day when Stallone came back and remembered Dolph and I cannot believe that he is going to do it. This will not only be Dolph's theatrical comeback but his biggest budgeted movie with the biggest stars. Seriously, if this is made before Icarus, Cinetel could up Dolph's budget. I hope Dolph dyes his hair blonde and carries some awesome weaponry in this movie.

As far as US-3 is concerned, I'm glad Dolph held off and waited for a good script, because now, he has got a better movie altogether. I say FUCK US-3...it won't get him anywhere unless it's made after The Expendables.

I've never posted before but this news is too cool. It will be great to see Dolph with Stallone again. It will be great to see him with this ensemble of actors. It will be great to see him on the big screen. It will just be great all over.

Hope it works out.

Sheldon Lettich shared on the Van Damme forum that Sly offered the part to JCVD first before Dolph but the ego man declined.

I don't wish to make everyone crazy, but...

Sly offered that role to JC before he offered it to Dolph. JC turned it down. I heard this last week.

Good to hear that Dolph will be on-board, reuniting with the man who gave him his first big break.

Apparently, Sly was pissed too. Sly made the offer personally. They spoke on the phone for a half hour or so. JC apparently gave Sly the explanation about following a new and different career path for himself now.

Yeah, big mistake. I don't really care anymore to be honest. Dolph has been the one that's delivering the great DTV action movies and deserves this. JC is blinded by his own silly little dreams of becoming a respected actor - get real. Dolph wants to kick some ass and I'm happy about that. I'm laughing, I don't give a fuck what Van Damme does anymore...

A great day for any Dolph fan.Very good news.I think it will happen for sure.
As for Van Damme he did a dumb thing turning down Sly's offer.

I think Dolph's involvement makes more noise than when they announced the project with Jason Statham and Jet Li.

As somebody put it in his blog it's "Dolph Lundgren Appreciation Day"
