I'm going to see the first screening possible, on the first day of advanced previews (this Friday :D). Ain't waiting a moment longer... Hows it gonna work when a couple of us have seen it, and a few have not? Are we gonna have a separate discussion thread or simply use highlighted spoilers?

I'm also going to the very first advance screening on Friday. Though the fact I'm going to the earliest screening perhaps may also have a little to do with the fact it's cheaper to go in the afternoon than the evening...

I've also booked for the first day of the main release.

As, far as I know, there's only ONE screen showing movies in their original language on the entire island of Mallorca, where I currently reside. It's not showing The Expendables.

Another great review on Joblo

If you want a true, R-rated action flashback, this is the film you’ve been waiting for. It’s an almost perfect action throw back that I can’t wait to see again. If you a guy (or cool gal) that likes action flicks, it’s your DUTY to see this opening weekend. I’ll be going again- because there no way in hell Sly ain’t getting my ten bucks.

Dolph Lundgren, Stallone battle for career comeback in 'The Expendables'
http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/entert ... 48889.html
"We were talking the other day in L.A. and I said to him, 'Look Sly, people are excited about this movie, a lot of people who wouldn't talk to me a month ago would say, 'Hey Dolph, I'm really excited about your movie, congratulations,' " Lundgren says from a rooftop patio during a promotional stop in Toronto.
"And he's like, 'Yeah, I remember. I was the fourth lead in "Spy Kids 3" opening in Austin.' He said, '(I thought) that's the end, it's over.' "

"You have to create your own destiny to some extent," says Lundgren, who's also turned to directing in recent years.
"But I think in this case it was the right time because now we've gone through the whole cycle where even the people who said, 'Oh, that guy is a loser, he's gotten old,' (are now saying) 'Yeah, it's kind of cool, he's still around. Yeah, I want to see him on film again.' So that's where we are now, I guess."

Kung-Fu cinema review (some spoilers)

Dolph Lundgren: Easily my favourite character. He plays a completely whacked-out, drug-addled nutcase that’s obsessed with guns and hurting people. He provides the film’s best kill (within the first 10 minutes) and also the film’s funniest moment

Dolph Lundgren, as a junkie turncoat, is roughly magnetic

I will definately see it on the first day here in Sweden, even if it seems they won't be showing the movie in my hometown :( , so I'll be heading to another theater, just a two hour drive from here. :)

Yes indeed. Charisma Carpenter also looks better on the big screen.
