Very good interview, thanks! Matthias always comes across as a very sympathetic guy. He briefly confirms he's in talks regarding Ex 4. Now I would love that!

Received the beautiful digibook.

The surprise is that they actually translated my booklet liner notes to German, but they are in English on the disc itself among the extras. I'd be glad to send over a PDF to the happy buyers who want them for an easier read.

I'd also be grateful if a German speaker could translate the Matthias Hues interview which seems very interesting as well.

Dispointingly NSM decided the U.S. master needed to be "cleaned" up (i.e. DNR) more:

(I'm sure we barely notice while watching the movie though, seems mostly on certain shots)

Here's a closer look at the NSM "mediabook" boxset and its 24 pages booklet

I'll do my very best but it may take a while. I've received mine a while ago but my BD player decided it's the perfect time to play just DVDs, no more Blurays. :| Have to buy a new player in order to enjoy the movie. Now the search for an all region player starts all over again. Thank you, industry.

Players like to break down at the perfect moment (which is never I guess) don't they?! Happened to me earlier this year I've been there...

That would be AWESOME, take your time, there's no rush. And please let me know what you think of my "liner notes" when you read them! (I hope the booklet translation is good - they've put the English on the disc btw)

P.S.
I could barely tell the difference (apart from the re-created DARK ANGEL title treatment (font) at the beginning) but if you had bought the US Region A BD then keep it, because it seems this one has had a bit of a lifting... It doesn't show on every shot but it's pretty flagrant on this one:

Was apparently screened last night at the Royal Cinema of Toronto as a "mystery movie".

US (Scream Factory) for the film (no DNR or compression artefacts), and Austrian (NSM Records) for the digibook packaging and booklet (in-depth liner notes by yours truly that I can send you in English).
