In fairness to the OP, the UK disc is titled Dark Angel and not I Come In Peace, maybe he wasn't searching for the UK title. Try typing in that one, OP. :D

I own a copy of "Dark Angel" but it only works on my Mac, which is far too small a screen for a movie of this awesomeness. I WANT A PROPER I COME IN PEACE DVD RELEASE OVER HERE!

BWAH!!! GRRR!!!

Seriously, get a region free player. Everything else sucks.

I agree with Canadian guy, it's about time they released this movie on DVD in North America which is a great movie, They are releasing Retrograde which which is not one of Dolph's greatest movie.

Fantastic movie--just watched it for the first time yesterday. The same guy who made this also directed the Brian Bosworth classic 'Stone Cold.' The plot to this is classic 80s ridiculousness with a nice supplement of action.

One of the best back-&-forth's in movie history:
Alien: I come in peace...
Dolph: But you go in pieces, asshole!

I'm fine with my Region 1 player, but not without this film in the DVD rack. Of course I'll sign the petition.

Too bad that Matthias Hues ended up in the C-movie region. He was a great opponent and I would have loved to see him in other movies with Dolph.

Dark Angel is definitely within my Dolph Top 10. I think the "Buddy chemistry" works very well. It was great in SILT with Brandon Lee and it's also great with the short guy here in Dark Angel. Plus, I love the cheesy 80s style.

Just watched this movie again a couple of weeks ago with my brother. We laughed the whole way through it. My favourite line is the "some asshole from outer space" one. Pretty much sums up the movie. Absolutely hillarious, killer action, fantastic quips from everyone. It made me think again, Lundgren needs to do more high kicks in his movies!! He is pretty good at them and pretty fast, especially when he kicks the guy when he enters the store hold-up. Total fun from start to finish and that's a great clip to summarise. Hopefully we'll see much more of Dolph's fighting skills should the rumoured Brazillian fighting drama ever materialize.

I hope we get to see some of those kicks when he squares off against Jet Li, though they probably won't need to be so high.

They just don't make enough of these sort of smaller sci-fi action films anymore. I COME IN PEACE fits real good with stuff like THEY LIVE and THE HIDDEN which all are from around the same era. Just fantastic mixes of action, aliens, and humor.
