Did they give the technical specs? Is it widescreen?

Man, and I just imported Men Of War from the US not long ago! Typical...

If the UK edition receives any extras, then chances are I'll pick it up - otherwise, I'll probably pass...

Announced on dvdactive.com. That's a good sign that they have been sent this from Anchor Bay.

Hopefully they'll get me to review it, I'm the only one there that does the genre stuff.

This has been re-rated from the original 18 rating to a 15 by the BBFC, but not only is it widescreen, it apears to have the same running time as the Holland Unrated cut (98:43). Happy days!

I never realised the VHS was uncut... well there you go!

Comparison against the uncut Holland version runtime (which is fullscreen);

Hmm....I'll have to watch this one again. I first saw it on HBO and was kinda disappointed by the film, what with it's stock footage use and strange feel. Loved the action, villain, and ending though. Awesome stuff.

Exactly.

Are you sure you're talking about the same film 'Jack Caine'?

MEN OF WAR is one of Dolph's best and most polished film in very department except maybe a few things here and there.
