Last bit of news: We will be reissuing the Punisher (the 1980s Dolph Lundgren film) on CD in possibly June or July. Keep an eye out here for further information. A vinyl edition is licensed and planned for future release. This has never before been on vinyl so all you Punisher fans be ready!

5. The Punisher will be reissued on CD for July. May be offering it in late June so keep an eye out if you missed out on the original release. Nothing new being added FYI, the tapes are what they are. There will be a vinyl release and when that gets done is tied to who agrees to take it exclusively or not.

I was a little young to see this, but I still managed to sneak in at what used to be Cannon Mile End in London, in the days where nobody cared what screen you sat in as long as you bought a ticket at the front door. This post was a massive nostalgia blast to the face.

We here at Notefornote Music are proud to announce that we just snagged our first ever exclusive release for April Record Store Day! Yes, we've had releases in the November Black Friday RSD event in the past (2 releases), but this is the one we've been working to be part of for years and we achieved that goal!

The Punisher, composed by Dennis Dreith, will be part of the RSD celebration scheduled for April 20, 2024 nationwide. We suggest that you let your local RSD affiliated indie record store know you'd love to get this title (this helps them decide how much to order even though it's not a guarantee that any store gets the exact amount they order). This is a limited edition of 900 units and is making it's debut on vinyl for the first time ever. The Punisher is a black vinyl edition but we cut it at 45 RPM and judging from the test pressings we listened to, it sounds wonderful!

Please support the label and pick this release up if you are a fan of bold action scoring. A sell out helps us find more unheralded gems and get them the opportunity to be considered for this important event. This music is such a great and underrated score to a film that doesn't get enough love in an age where the Punisher character is as big as ever.
