I like to think that he dies (especially with that beautiful score for the end credits) and the director told me the same, but he made it open so that people can choose to think what they like.

I don't think it's anything special, 1.33:1, DD 2.0, no special features except a trailer maybe...

In one of the earlier yet latest drafts of the script before the writer/director Bill Tannen was left, was written an epilogue scene between Mike and Jackson at the airport; also after the movie was shot, the producers were reportedly thinking about doing a sequel (but the movie didn't do too well and DL wasn't into doing sequels at the time)...

An analysis of COVER-UP in the 2009 book Terrorism in American cinema: an analytical filmography, 1960-2008 by Robert Cettl, who
argues that the film reveals an alarmingly realist insight into US-Middle Eastern politics and terrorism since the 2000s, dealing with a al-Qaeda esque terrorist organization and the conspiracy theories that some believe the US government is using the Middle East as a cover-up:

DELETED SCENE - RARE

Image
One scene was shot at the Ben-Gurion International Airport "where Anderson (Dolph Lundgren), on arriving in Israel, picks up a copy of his latest book in Hebrew. Several travellers who wanted to buy the book were disappointed to discover that it was only a creation of the art department!"

(from the production notes)

I always thought this film was a major piece of crap and a real waste.

One thing about it though, Dolph looks handsome as hell. He really was in his prime when he made this and was something special.

I'm straight but I gotta say that is a beautiful man.
