Wow, not a single image from the actual movie... I don't know why not, Black Jack looked pretty good.

I think one of the reasons they do that is to count on the average audience's ignorance and naivety and make seem like a newer or different movie than it is.

Watched it a couple of weeks ago (last time I watched it was on vhs some 7/8 years ago). It's clearly not the best dolph vehicle there is, even if there is come interesting (yet clichés) ideas (the psycho killer, some car chase, the "fear of white"). Disapointting from John Woo. But a zillion years above "Agent Red" (well, I have to watch it again, as i havent seen this trash in 10 years or so).

For ne t was a 90s TV plot, a paycheck, and Woo never had enough time to get all the rewrites he wanted (I also think he was more focused on his own personal projects like the unproduced Chow Yun-Fat starrer KINGS RANSOM). That said, I felt it was the first time a director really knew how to film Dolph and iconize him.
