About last week. Finishing the mix of Wanted Man with @dolphlundgren @emmakrokdal and AJ Pyatak. As a composer, this is one of my favorite moments, listening to my music becoming alive in the context of the dialogues and sound.

I was wondering : is it possible that the current WGA / SAG strikes could delay (or the opposite, speed) the movie release ? The silence around it is a bit "deafening", as no distributor has been announced :/

(and that lead to another off-topic question : is Dolph member of the SAG (or even the WGA as a writer)? i also wonder if a shooting like Wanted Man is unionized or not :/ )

I don't know. I can't say for sure but I don't think that D is a SAG or WGA member, and a lot of his films don't seem to be union productions.

The fact that no distributor has been announced likely doesn't mean anything, I'm sure it's settled at least in a few major markets.

This sort of answers it for New Mexico (and WM):
We are in a market down here that's mostly nonunion. We've been getting some bigger movies in here, like with Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis and Dolph Lundgren, who are kind of half union, half not. It's the way they work out their contracts and stuff. But yeah, so everything's at a grinding halt with anything with union contracts.

And you don't want to cross the picket lines while they're holding out and doing the strike and non-union people should be helpful in that sense too, because the non-union people will someday probably be union people. So everybody wants to help out. But we here in Southern New Mexico have always been pretty much a non-union market. A lot of independent films, a lot of people that are doing their own things--the colleges, young filmmakers--they're making their movies. And they can continue to make their movies. Those are their projects. As long as they're not dealing with companies and producers that fall under the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, they're fine. I can continue with my own personal projects. Most of my own personal projects are lower budget, micro budget, and hence nonunion. We can't afford it. So we try to treat people fairly, and that's kind of what this has all come down to, is being fair and keeping the integrity of this business alive and well for everybody on both sides.

That's a totally acceptable temp artwork. It's a given that it will eventually change.

I am in real temptation to see it , after all this efforts. I hope decent plot and runtime (93-96 minutes) not a choppy 80 minutes something.

At APEX IFSA Global EXPO, Captive Entertainment will be representing some of Millennium’s newer titles, such as action films The Bricklayer, starring Aaron Eckhart; and Wanted Man, starring Dolph Lundgren.

Lonnie Ramati (Hellboy, Expend4bles, Pups Alone...) has been added as co-executive producer on Imdb.
I hope we'll get some news on the movie soon.

Ramati is a lawyer in charge of legal affairs with a long history of working with Nu Image / Millennium.

If WM is indeed getting released November 20 in Scandinavian countries, then it shouldn't be long before a final cover art and trailer appear... 8)
