This edition is indeed legal, the rights to the film belonged to "Avalon" (http://www.avalon.me/), which has sold them to "Like Films" so that they can edit the film. Like Films is a subsidiary company of Resen (https://resenentertainment.wixsite.com/resen).

What I don't understand is, if that's an officially licensed release why don't they respect the usual mandatory legal logos and mentions on the covers (which in some areas look pretty amateurish)? American licensing companies are pretty strict about those and nowadays most of them have approval over the cover designs of foreign releases... :?

Forgot to mention that a life-size poster of this moody advance key art was shown 10 years ago at the 2013 Cannes Film Market, 8 months before filming started:

10 Best Martial Arts Movie Star Team-Ups
Dolph Lundgren & Tony Jaa
Skin Trade (2015)

When the daughter of Detective Nick Cassidy (Dolph Lundgren) is kidnapped by human traffickers in 2015's Skin Trade, his one-man mission to rescue her brings him up against Thai detective Tony Vitayakul (Tony Jaa), only for the two to realize they're in pursuit of a common enemy. Lundgren and Jaa's contrasting statures and martial arts prowess make their one-on-one fight in Skin Trade a brutally enthralling dance of warriors, while they're equally engaging once they become allies. Between their action duo chemistry and the movie's fabulous martial arts fights (including a showdown between Jaa and Michael Jai White), Skin Trade is a fantastic East meets West team-up of action heroes.

Realized that filming was underway 10 years ago (January 15 to late March 29, 2014)
