I must say, that's a badass tagline, the marketing people would be smart to use it. 8)

Thanks mate, and thanks to whoever put this in a new topic, I wasn't sure whether to create a new one for something that wasn't really news but I guess since this is shooting next...

So, does anyone know what this one's gonna be about? The title certainly sounds interesting ...

I don't know much about the plot yet, all I know is that Dolph described it being a thriller in the vein of BLACK RAIN set between New York and Moscow.

Okay, thanks for the info! It sounds kinda dark, which is only good news to me, since it's one of my favorite "genres." Haven't seen Black Rain though, but I'll make sure to watch it soon, just to get a hint of what "Skin Trade" will be going for in terms of look & tone.

Black Rain is good mate, check it. Very violent, cool title. So a project in that vein is right up Dolph's street. I love dark action movies and Dolph does them pretty well, (eg The Mechanik).

Hm, I understand that Russia, Romania etc. are good if you have a low budget but honestly I'd like to see some other settings again for a change.

I think the main location planned for this one is Montreal. So I guess that like ICARUS, the scenes set in Russia should be minimal.

And again with Dolph it's not just about shooting in Eastern Europe for budget reasons, he's really into the Russian culture etc so that's why he's very interested in stories revolving around it.

I agree with Mosquito, a change would be nice since everybody from Steven Seagal to Van damme and Dolph Lundgren are mostly making their movies in Eastern Europe, it's starting to get really boring, i mean what about China, India, Brazil or South America, Middle East South Africa would be something new and fresh.
AUSTRALIA :D

I mean, i'm pretty sure these places are cheap to make a movie, i really liked Missionary Man and Diamond Dogs locations alot better than Dolph's last 3 movies DC, CP and US3. Like i said it's fresh locations and makes the viewer more interested.

Wanted Man I presume will have the same kinda locations as Missionary Man which will be cool. Direct Contact's locations were shit because it was a shit movie with a shit script etc, I just want to put that monstrosity out of my head. Command Performance had some beautiful exteriors outside of the main concert building and I agree about Diamond Dogs, it's a pity about the quality of that movie though. We'll get some good locations in The Expendables and each of Dolph's movies has a different look anyway, I'm just glad he isn't in Bulgaria for every single movie.

Jox, I'm assuming that after Dolph is done with the Swedish Eurovision stuff he will concentrate on Skintrade? It doesn't seem like he's had too much of a break though apart from a short time after The Expendables. I suppose though being in his position right now he wants to work on everything that's worth it.
