That's just about the most commercial cover yet - great capitalisation on TE2 and the franchise's history.

At least the Dutchies acknowledge that Scott is the real lead in this movie.

As much as I like Regeneration and (have grown to really like DoR), I still feel like Dolph and JCVD are under-used. Surely by the time we indeed reach this film, both actors know they are in safe hands with Hyams and commit more of their schedule, and work on the script more? I hear Hyams is considering one last entry, so considering he seems to have a really good and collaborative working relationship with Dolph (and I assume JCVD, but I have no frame of reference to confirm, surely Dolph would clear a gap and commit to a full shoot if Hyams expands the old roles? That one would sell like crazy.

Not that sure because I know JCVD actually had to be dragged on the 4th one too, Dolph almost turned it down (with the first script) and doesn't seem so thrilled to come back again, unless it really comes out of the ordinary. But even so, I don't think Hyams ever planned or would plan on having them as leading characters either, and he is also not that interested in the UNISOL franchise, as much as he is of its possibilities to explore concepts... By the way, you should all get the US edition for the audio commentary and feature length making of but particularly the commentary to understand Hyams frame of mind.

Now that's a shame... they really seem to enjoy working together. Hopefully they will on another project, they seem to gave a great working relationship. BTW, it kinda showed with JCVD.

They sure do, and that's why Dolph took him to work on the SKIN TRADE script! Hopefully Hyams will direct a solo Dolph project whether it's ST or another one!
