Great thanks for your report and review!!

They said yes, his character from the book was "not as flamboyant."

For sure the character wasn't there much in the book as it was just an element of the story, but I can tell from the two trailers that he's much more important and more present in the film (which is not too shabby given the film is a big ensemble cast piece with so many characters).
