Sounds like a couple of standard DTV's, but at least it seems like more money involved with the co-stars.

It's still straight-to-DVD but at least Dolph is getting to work alongside better actors. Who's next for him to work with? Ray Liotta? Val Kilmer? Christian Slater? When's Wesley Snipes getting out of prison?

I don't know why he would want to work with Brad. Maybe he's been talking to JC?

Maybe he doesn't, it's like Moshe Diamant, he knows he's a crook and would rather do without but you dont always choose who you work for and if there wouldn't be much left if you'd get rid of all the shady producers in the movie business. That's the way it is.

So after starring in The Expendables Dolph does three movies with the worst directors possible, the worst DTV producer possible and in the worst shooting location possible. Is there a reason for this? Just the money? I'd rather he directed his own shit. I usually save my mouthing-off/complaining for the Van Damme board, (I've even given up on that) but I can't hide/deny my disappointment for these three movies. Bring on US-4 and TE-2, anything else is a bonus. At least he might fight Steve Austin ha.

I'm not sure about the behind the scenes of all this but this double picture deal indeed sound like Dolph isn't doing it for the sake of artistic reasons... I just hope this after-EXPENDABLES doesn't get him too short changed by agents and producers just using him to their advantage... I also understand he probably needs some extra cash... But yeah I hope US4 will live up to the expectations, TE2 as well, and that we won't have to wait too long before he gets back in the director's chair!

Tony Giglio has been removed from IMDB and since the filming dates have been pushed to end of June instead of May, he might be being replaced by another director?

Or maybe Dolph is kicking in more days on US4 in late May?
I know, not likely but one can always hope.
I rewatched Dolphs scenes from US3 the other day and every second is so incredibly badass!

So Giglio is probably out. Maybe we can get Roel Reine in there instead? Have not seen any of his work but people are raving about him so I just assume he is good.

Other suggestions?

Renny Harlin would be a dream. "The long kiss goodnight" is a forgotten CLASSIC! Everybody always mentions cliffhanger and die hard 2 when they talk about Harlin but LKG is my favourite hand down.
He has sort of fallen from grace during the last decade but even still I guess he is too high rent.
