Anyone seen CHAOS with Statham and Snipes?
Chaos wasn't too bad. Quite well made, but it wasted the opportunity to use Statham and Snipes to the full, and had too many twists. Ryan Phillipe is also one of the most boring actors on Earth, which didn't help. So I think Giglio might be okay. Not sure he's a particularly good action director though, which may be a problem. The set pieces on Chaos were a little flat.
As for the director of this, Ernie Barbarash. Haven't yet seen any of his work. He's done a film with Cuba I believe and just did JC's The Weapon.
The Brad Kevoy think is a worry, but D has worked with worse and I think as long as there's a reasonable budget in each, you have the cast to elevate each film. I like the plot lines though. I'd assume Dolph is the bad guy in each one. Though actually, I'd quite like them to flip things round and make Cuba Gooding Jnr the bad guy in One In The Chamber, just to be interesting. Cuba doesn't generally play the bad guy. But yeah, I'd quite like to see Lundgren on bad guy detail in one of these films at least. But it'll probably be both.
