Yeah, for me that was the highlight of the music in the movie ... Pitbull's song is just horrible and the overall score is just above average (but i'll have to listen to it again to forge my opinion).

(but i really like Sigur Ros, so my opinion is a little biased)

The electronic part of the score was cool, but as always nowadays the scores are undermined below the weight of the loud sound effects (and the Paris Grand Rex theatre it was damn loud -- and I'm biased to 80's electronic music / sounds).

Soundtrack release of the orchestral score will be available digitally 8)
(wish this was an option back in the day we might have had THE PUNISHER 16 years sooner and possibly the unreleased DARK ANGEL / I COME IN PEACE, COVER-UP or JOSHUA TREE / ARMY ONE, MEN OF WAR etc)
Me: It's great to have an orchestral score on a low budget action film these days. Do you know yet if there will be a soundtrack release?
SANDRO DI STEFANO yes, it will be available very soon on digital store by Kemper Music Label company. It was really nice.

Soundtrack by David Michael Frank from Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991) is just awesome !!! Still sounds like 'fresh' after so many years... Recently listening some music of David Michael Frank on youtube found out that one of the soundtrack from the movie Hard to KIll (1990) which was unused in the finished version called '''Reunion'' but included on OST, was later re-used by DMF in Showdown in little Tokyo (199'1) under the title ''Little Tokyo'
The link for it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ed1S22aKDhQ
It may be truth or not ? Who knows ?

I'm pretty sure that youtube channel made it up in that unofficial playlist...

- Only 7 other tracks from the HARD TO KILL score were released, not 10 (on the 1992 Steven Seagal compilation) and this was not on there.

- Musically, it does not sound like any of the HTK score and you can tell it was written specifically for SHOWDOWN.
