She was rally amazing in "Burning Bright" (a kind great movie for a B-movie animal horror flick). And i don't know Paul Wesley, but according to his resume, he must be a teenage "star" (vampire diaries, fallen).
So far, good casting for the couple (and the bad guy).

Carlos Brooks would be a good choice.
It depends on how the movie will be treated (more a thriller, more a horror flick ?). I would love to see Russell Mulcahy directing Dolph again, and with him in this chair, this movie would be even more attractive than it is now.

No clue about who the director is yet but Briana, while not arrived to location when sh first twitted, got mistaken, she stated then her co-star wasn't Paul Wesley but Sean Faris (don't ask me who that is as I had never heard of him before but he was in stuff like NEVER BACK DOWN).

Got confirmation from writer Gary Spinelli that Sean Faris and Briana Evigan are starring, and Eduardo Rodriguez is directing.

Rodriguez has his horror short film DAUGHTERS selected and nominated at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival, then he made the feature CURANDERO ("The Healer") for Miramax based on script by Robert Rodriguez and did second unit on Pang's brothers THE MESSENGERS plus episodes fot the "Blood Cell" and "Fear Itself" TV series. Hopefully he knows a thing or two about making a suspense/horror thriller.

Good News indeed. And Sean Faris as some following among teens. Maybe he'll bring a new audience to Dolph.
