Watched this yesterday and thought it was a tad flat. I loved the locations, although thought it could have been colour graded a bit more generously to accentuate them, I feel that too much colour was drained out. Dolph was cool, clearly having fun, had a few good lines. The characters were pretty one dimensional and I didn't particularly care for any of them. The action was reasonable and Dolph back to back with the robots was a good moment. Overall though, I feel that with a better script, more tongue in cheek and self deprecating moments, you could have had a more watchable movie. There was a lot of shaky cam which is understandable considering the low budget and tight schedule so I didn't mind that. I would have certainly spent the money a bit wiser though - I'd have cut down on the zombies and made it more of a "stalk and kill" like the end of The Mechanik and put in a few real explosions and some slo-mo zombie slaying. Not a bad project for Dolph to do though, shows that he can still carry a movie reasonably well and the cool concept won't exactly damage his career, probably just add to his cult status.
