I'd actually watched half of this a while back, but the rental expired on my PS3, re-rented it today.

It's charming and much like Ambushed/Hard Rush, I can respect it for having ambition. It looks more expensive than it is, the actors are all fine (Thankfully none as grating as Gianni Capaldi  !) Sometimes I felt like it's more of a pilot for a television show on SyFy, the way the film took it's time setting up the world and characters.

I got some really good laughs out of Dolph's dialogue too, especially when talking to the robots, but while a appreciated it, I do feel they took the concept far too seriously and could've used more of a camp factor to it, given the cheesyness of the effects, like the big explosion at the end.

The last Soldier, the last templar (french title for Minion), the last dragons (french title for bridge of dragon), the last patrol ... poor dolph, he's always the last (joke apart, Zylo is used to make shitty dvd, with nice covers, but poor content, sometimes without english language).

Yeah... I spoke with the SILENT TRIGGER producer (Silvio Muraglia) recently, and he told me France was the hardest territory to sell (took 4 years to get released) because according to him, the distributors couldn't handle the fact that it was somewhat of an "intellectual", "psychological" and "artsy" movie starring a B or Z grade action lead.
