This was on one of the local Spanish-speaking Hispanic stations here in the US a couple nights ago. Seems a little soon for it to be on a cable channel when it was released to the US back in February (despite being completed over a year prior). Still it was amusing hearing the dialogue re-dubbed, especially with the robots. :)

On a different, but somewhat related note, the Spanish stations always seem to play the films with Dolph and Van Damme... I'm thinking they must have a big following in Mexico...

Yep, that's when I finally saw it. They did of course edit out all the curse words for network television. I am not sure if anything else was edited for Broadcast. I didn't even realize it until my Google TV had recorded it for me.
I do notice it is also on VUDU for $13.99 in HDX format. I might pick it up. My husband pointed out the young guy in it was "Mouse" from The Matrix. I had totally missed it!

Just found out that BotD made a tiny bit less than The Raid 2 at the United Arab Emirates box office. 134,000$ against 140,000$ (and I just remembered it was the last time Dolph was a lead in a movie).

Indeed, #8 with $93,070 on 26 screens on the first week-end (right above THE RAID 2 which had 2 screens less):

Here's some early concept art for when 'Battle of The Damned' was still designed to be a direct sequel to 'Robotropolis.' Nice work by Kobe Sek.

Quick question : i just noticed that the UK dvd was cheap and easily available (opposite to the french one) : the ratio announced is 1.78 on the UK DVD. Does the movie get modified a lot this way ? (cause it's 12€ cheaper than the french DVD, which is quite something ^^).

There's no other aspect ratio (it was not framed for 2.35 and released without the cache, unlike BLOOD OF REDEMPTION, A CERTAIN JUSTICE or more especially WAR PIGS), so you can go ahead.
