Actor Murray Clive wrote about his experience on the film playing Dolph's sidekick with lots of set pics:

Interesting story and pics but it is kind of hard to tell if he enjoyed working with Dolph or not.

It seems the movie was formerly called LEGENDARY: THE SHOCATE and was to star Franka Potente, Brian Austin Green and Anthony Head for a £4.3 million budget ($6,7 million)

And it seems the Iowa state paid them not to film there...

Oh dear, I'd forgotten about this one. I knew there was another movie Dolph did that was due for release sometime soon. Something about this one stank from the start. Hope that's just a stigma I've attached to it, but nothing about it seems to promising other than the radical change of local for Dolph.

It seems like Dolph has zero enthusiasm for this... even Battle Of The Damned, a project we all originally thought was a joke, gets more enthusiasm from the Big Swede than this...

I get the same vibe... I have a feeling that Dolph signed on for this as it was something slightly new, and it also allowed him to work alongside Adkins again. I imagine that the idea of it being a "family-friendly adventure" was something that was tacked on AFTER Dolph had signed on...

I believe the project aimed to be PG13 and family friendly from the get go. I'm not exactly sure why he did this one, which he signed on very quickly (and with a short window, because of BOTD) after REPEATER got cancelled last year...
