I wonder how exaggerated that number is. 32 million dollars is a huge budget.

It's the budget for the whole series, so it's about $5-6 million per film.
(And we know there's no way a UK/Chinese production would put $32 million for one movie starring Scott and Dolph.)

I know too.

In China, those reports mean is really only one film budget is $32 million.
This is exaggerated propaganda.
The purpose is to attract audience.

In 2010, in China, Sam Neill's The Dragon Pearl crew claimed that The budget is 200 million RMB too.

200 million RMB is exaggerated propaganda, but i think LEGENDARY crew got a lot of money from China, Definitely more than before.
The film actors are More famous than The Dragon Pearl. in China, Huang Yi, Geng Le, Nathan Lee(Korean), they are all big stars.
The Dragon Pearl was shot in Hengdian, Beijing shooting conditions are Better than Hengdian.
Dolph said Beijing studio is very good.

From the writer Andy Briggs:
SATURDAY, 19 MAY 2012

I am excited to see that the movie I wrote and Exec Produced, LEGENDARY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON, has started shooting today in China. Produced by Midsummer Films, it’s a UK/Chinese co-production, shot in 3D for release next year.

Starring DOLPH LUNDGREN and SCOTT ADKINS, and directed by ERIC STYLES, here’s the outline:

Travis Preston is called to investigate if a legendary lake monster is behind the deaths at a remote construction site. As the death toll mounts, Preston discovers the beast is not only real, but has a taste for human flesh.
