BLOOD OF REDEMPTION (Giorgio Serafini/Shawn Sourgose, 2013)

German sites report the sale of rights at Cannes market to company KSM of a Dolph Lundgren title called BLOOD OF REDEMPTION (executive produced by KSM CEO Benjamin Krause)...

Might be a new project unless it's the German title for THE PACKAGE, which has something to do with blood in the plot... ?

Same director, same cast as RUSH yet doesn't seem to be the same project (that we actually heard about a while back):

Sounds good. Game Of Death was okay. I also wonder if they'll cast Gary Daniels as one of Vinnies henchmen. Gary's been in Serafini's last couple of films. I'd like to see Daniels in there too. Good to see Dolph in the lead role too.

The story makes the round of all the trades and what's for sure is that the sales of Dolph Lundgren titles didn't make that much noise a few years back...

Interesting to see Anchor Bay UK have snapped up yet another Dolph title. What with them buying up old back catalogue titles as well as new films (I believe their release of Pentathlon is the only Blu Ray version available in the world), maybe Joshua Tree will be snapped up by them.

Yeah I'm hoping Anchor Bay UK will pop up a Blu-ray of MEN OF WAR soon.

So now we have confirmation that BLOOD OF REDEMPTION is a totally different project from RUSH, here's the synopsis:
http://www.visionmusicinc.net/Details.a ... 96b839ed91
Quinn Forte is the head of the most notorious crime organization in Los Angeles known as “The Company”, that hides behind the façade of a financial investment firm run by his father. He and his strong-arm, Sicario parade as Wall Street gurus by day and high-end thieves by night. Kurt, his much younger brother, who is unaware of Quinn’s secret, idolizes him.

After a bad deal ends with a nightmarish blood bath, Quinn’s real identity is revealed, his father is murdered and Kurt’s life is in jeopardy. In custody, Quinn agrees to take the fall and to not speak a word of The Company in exchange for the life of his brother.

Quinn is released early and soon finds himself faced with the same demons he wanted to leave behind. The company is now ruled with an iron fist by Campbell, who used to be Quinn’s assistant, but will never have the loyalty of his underlings the way Quinn once did. Campbell’s first order of business was to cripple Sicario, whom he now treats like his fool.

Quinn comes home to Kurt, now an FBI agent assigned to bring down The Company. Kurt blames him for the murder of their father. Quinn teeters between a hellish spiral back into his old ways and, in a blaze of bullets, Quinn and Sicario battle for Kurt’s forgiveness and Quinn’s own redemption as he fights to rise above his dark past.

That synopsis sounds exactly like John Woo's classic A Better Tomorrow... only the names changed.

Hey there!
Getting ready for the holidays. Just finished shooting the feature RUSH here in LA, where I do a small role as a DEA detective.
Heading back to Stockholm and Marbella for Christmas and New Year's to hang with my family.
In February I do another smaller role in BLOOD OF REDEMPTION then in March I have an indie-movie I'd like to produce.
In April we start shooting RESCUE 3, a TV action-series about a unified command of firefighters, lifeguards and coast guards saving people off the coast of California. A cool, new situation for me playing an on-going character - a regular guy under extraordinary circumstances.
Enjoy the rest of 2012, see you next year!
