Quite cool actually, would be an awesome movie if it was up to this!
I guess they're trying to make it look like an American OUTRAGE BEYOND (from Takeshi Kitano).

Found this as Bluray today for 9,99 at the supermarket but didn't buy it because I first wanted to find out if the version is cut. You never know over here.

I don't think the German edition is cut but I haven't checked it. Anyway that's the 16 certificate is the only one out there.

I'm not sure there'd be that much to cut really. It's not that violent really.

Well you those Germans censors (cutting sometimes up to 15-25 mins in the old days), they'd cut anything to use their scissors!

Don't think I had seen that:
Capaldi:
When I was asked to produce Blood of Redemption for the EPs [executive producers], I insisted I would only produce the film if Giorgio Serafini was at the helm. Not many directors have the skill to get a great job done in 18 days of filming. Giorgio is a rare commodity. For the record, the other co-director listed, with no fault of his own, was asked respectfully to step aside and let Giorgio fill the shoes of director and thus relieving him of all his duties before we even started. I felt a little sorry for him but we all get replaced by bigger and better, it’s happened to me as well and he won’t be the last.

Somehow it sounds weird though, when did anybody get co-directing credit for being let go before production...? (Russell Mulcahy on RAMBO III, Andrew Davis on UNIVERSAL SOLDIER) So somehow this sounds sketchy.

The French edition is listed in 2.35:1, if true, that would make the only release in its intended aspect ratio (which I guess would hide the lack of production value and enhance the photography a little).

Trailer in 2.35:

EDIT:
The French edition is NOT in 2.35 unfortunately :(
