Just saw the second half of the first episode. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but it did look cheap and the biggest problem was it is a very boring show.

Then you missed the best (sarcasm) scene about the smell of coffee ("coffee smells good", "yeah, yeah it is good"), quiche and random dancing on bad 90's hip-hop!

Somebody on IMDB just summed it up:
I have a theory that this show could be used to teach English to non-native speakers. It's like NPR mixed with a telenovela and Sesame Street.
Another one compared it to SNL's sketch "The Californians".

I just watched the first half, it didn't show that. It started with Dolph laying on a beach at night thinking of a girl and then he hears her yelling and swims and rescues her. Then they are home base and from there go to the woods while some lady saves a couple of kids by swimming with them. Meanwhile, Dunnigan goes missing and Dolph keeps yelling his name.

They must have shortened it down from 40 to 20 mins. Doesn't matter as they do it again... in episode 2!

I guess they did shorten it a little. It ran from 7:10 to just before 8:00.

I was wondering when someone was going to post that horrendous dance sequence. It's utterly embarassing to watch... I was appalled when I first saw it on its initial air date. Last time I was this embarassed for the guy was in AGENT RED. At least in that one, he wasn't attempting to dance. I can only imagine how D feels... Of course, he at least got a paycheck for it, which speaks volumes for this...

By duty and without project discrimination, I feel obligated to say the season resumed last week-end. Here are the last two episodes promos

What's a shame (or possibly a benefit; depending on how you look at it) is how producers have practically turned their backs on Dolph and are barely using him to promote this at all. Then again, like I said, maybe it's a benefit...

In another case it would have been a shame but here that's a great thing. Why would we want Dolph to be hyped up for starring in one in the worst shows ever produced? I know want everybody to know and he already has his share of turkeys on his resume. Knowing him I'm sure he's content about it, and may even have something to do with it.

He's not in the show for a good third of the season, and they think every other character is so fucking important and compelling like they all are "leads" even if they appear less than a minute every episode, so they while in their minds star has left them down this is what we get...

It really is produced by like a soap opera (and I wonder if they're more watchable than this), don't they dozens of meaningless characters like that? Oh well... :?

Last episode was over the top ridiculous and painful, with most hilariously talk about Cape Town being half way around the world when we know they're shooting there and it looks nothing like South California, and a flashback featuring a skinny young Dolph character with his voice du bed over... Dolph is on screen like 4 minutes top in the 40 minutes... Good case study of a piece of s***t.
