Plu, his colleague Teery Crews did a lot of TV shows (Everybody Hates Chris, Battle Dome, Are We There Yet? ...) and it doesn't prevent him from having an honorable movie career (Expendable, Starsky & Hutch, Terminator Salvation ...).

Nonetheless, he's doing a good career although he's in few TV show. For me, it means that there is more distinction between film and TV series. Moreover, many movie stars doing TV shows (Steven Seagal lol, Mark Dacascos, Robert Carlyle, Stephen Lang ...).

That's true, I understand True Justice is pretty popular in America...

I tried to watch this show, but I haven't been attracted at all. The format of an hour and a half per episode is too long for an episode of series As a result, the plot barely take off, because in the end, it's done and said many things as if the episode should last 45 minutes.

It's flopped so badly in the UK that the company that originally owned the rights to the series have panicked, stitched two 45 minute episodes badly into one 90 minute "feature" and started packaging them as standalone movies, the weird thing is, it's hard to tell the difference from his last few real films;

True Justice. it's shoved away on Channel 5 desperately unwatched.

The budget would be rather $1.5 million per episode / approx $30 million for the season.

Any news about the cast or other ?

It's too early, they probably won't announce/cast anybody else before March.

I'm not being a dick but I hate action stars going to TV. Say what you want but Walker, Texas Ranger was cheesy despite some good action, Seagal's show is drivel. I would rather D stick to movies, but hey I'll reserve my judgement.

I think it's better to have a mini series with 1 or 2 seasons but with a well done scenario that a series that stretches over 10 seasons but without charisma

He'd sworn he'd never do TV but things being what they are he changed his mind and actually takes it like it's gonna be more fun to do for a while.
(I've never even watched more than 5 mins of WALKER, TEXAS RANGER, does it really have decent action? To me it looked like "LIttle House on the Prairie" starring Chuck Norris)...

A "mini-series" is, in English-speaking countries, less than 1 season and usually not more than 6 episodes.

I don't remember it to have had decent action either. It was quite sh*tty and cheesy. (yum!)
