Absolutely. I haven't even watched the last releases. One GOOD movie every other year is much better than two mediocre or bad movies per year.

Not sure if it's a title change or a new title just for the U.S. (possibly because of the upcoming Ron Howard movie also entitled RUSH), both will probably end up being used... But both the director and Dolph still call it RUSH (which sounds better to me)

RUSH TIME sounds like a ripoff of RUSH HOUR, and BLOOD RUSH sounds like a cheesy dtv vampire title...

I actually don't mind ABSENT GUARD. It's better than the simplistic RUSH, which I worried would conflict with the upcoming Ron Howard film of the same title. If anything, at least he's not using a recycled title from previous films. He has two films in his filmography with the word "HIDDEN" and another two with"DIRECT"...

That's unclear, the synopsis makes it sound like he's the main lead, yet he considers it a small part (but he doesn't seem to be very interested in those two roles)...

Randy Couture briefly talks RUSH at 3:32: he plays the bad guy...

Same thing with Randy Couture (3). I had a fight with him in a film called Rush and if he comes at you with something then you better be watching out, y'know?

13 February, 2013 | By Andreas Wiseman

UK distribution outfit Signature has picked up three titles for home entertainment release during the EFM.

Giorgio Serafini’s action Rush stars Vinnie Jones, Dolph Lundgren and UFC champion Randy Couture in the story of an agent’s search to bring an international cocaine smuggling ring to justice.

The guy fighting Vinnie Jones looks like Ray Park (aka Darth Maul). Wonder if he appears.

So Dolph I assume must the "lead" in this. Randy's the villain, I assume Jones is a supporting role. Though I also guess it'll be something akin to when Seagal "leads" a film in recent years, and Dolph will disappear for 10 minutes at a time sometimes. Van Damme was considered the lead in Unisol 3 but didn't appear all that much.

It looks promising though. The director is solid enough, the cast is fairly decent. I think this and BFR could be pretty decent, at least on a level with OITC and The Package.

I think it's Gianni Capaldi, who's also one of the co-producers and is part of BLOOD OF REDEMPTION as well, which brings me to the fact that too many cast members are also in BLOOD OF REDEMPTION as well because they're involved in the production as well (and seem to be partners of Serafini)... One movie is from the point of view of cops, the other from the mob, but it won't serve the films if people confuse them because of the cast. I think they'll both be fun enough though.
