That's basically The Expendables.

Nick Gunar
Gunnar Jensen

Both 'expendable' mercenaries. Both fighting in exotic lands. Both clashing with their own team.

Nick Gunar and Gunnar Jensen don't have much in common apart from being mercenaries, and unlike most people think, Sly didn't give him his name according to MOW (most people say that because they've never heard the name anywhere else) but more as a reference/homage to actor Gunnar Hansen (who plays Leatherface in TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE).

They share nothing apart from being mercenaries. Gunnar had become jaded from war and denounced it at the end of the film, in Expendables, Jensen relished war and chased it whenever he could. Expendables is and has always been an old school action blast, Men Of War was envisioned as more of an arthouse action drama that evolved into more of a straight action drama. End of lesson.

My wishlist:
One in the Chamber 2 (want to see him and Cuba work together)
Punisher 2 (could be a good franchise)
Joshua Tree 2 (really like that movie and his character)
Icarus 2 (like the movie a lot)

I love all of these suggestions rather much.

Heck, since many of his films are owned by Sony or Lionsgate, I'll take a sequel for any of those and be a happy camper. 8)

Another Pentathlon and Army of One would be great :)
Always curious as to how the relationships between the love interests would develop. and what Santi does with his new life.

Absolutely, surprised wasn't on list before. Given its TV pilot origins it's set up very well for further adventures, action and expanding relationships.

Also dug Diamond Dogs even though it wasn't an amazing film. But the setting, character and concept were all intriguing.

Further paranormal mysteries with Jack Caine would have been cool.

We definitely require another John Hyams UniSol movie.

Slightly off topic, but I would love to see someone adapting Neuromancer and making the character of Molly the daughter of Keanu and Dina Meyer's characters from Johnny Mnemonic.
