You're all INVITED

Postby Bryan Hill on 07 Sep 2005, 06:23

Bryan Hill here.

I've been posting what I know about the MECHANIK, and I hope you all are getting the answers you want. I'll keep posting stuff as I find stuff out.

If Jox doesn't mind, I'm going to plug my message board over at my site:

www.aggressivefiction.blogspot.com

Please stop by, register and bug me there any time you want. I'll still be posting here, reading posts and all of that as well.

Let's make it one, big, happy net family.

BTW...Dolph's really grateful you guys show up for him. He promises to stop by as soon as he gets some time. He's busy editing right now. The man's a work-a-holic. LOL.

Cheers,

BH

Hey Bryan, thanks for your great effort and approach! Many people don't honour the "forces of the web" and their fanbase.

If Dolph really finds the time to stop by on this board (and I'm sure we would all would be so happy and honoured that there aren't words to describe it) he should verify his visit on his own site. That is the only way to make sure that he's the real guy. Too many people make fun out of pretending they are the star and fool the readers.

Yes! That's something new to me, seeing a busy man spending so much time on keeping us up-to-date. ;)

I'll be signed there recently. :)

Would LOVE "seeing" Dolph around in here. =)
In hope for someone who could replace the real Dolph one day if he's (hopefully not as soon) out of business...

"Dawn, go away I'm no good for you...."

Kansas City, huh? I'm from St. Louis.

For better or worse, we have Missouri in common.

Well apparently the MPAA just had a screening of the movie and they rated it R for: (I know some you will like it) "strong bloody violence, language, some sexuality and drug use". http://www.filmratings.com

Hey Bryan, from what you saw on the rough cut, did the vision you and Dolph have of a kind of 70's style revenge flick come through? Also what about the action was it directed and edited old school and more simplified or was it in the John Woo or Mtv style. I am personally really excited by this film, especially after Dolph did such a good job on The Defender. I'd be interested to see how versatile he is, and how different the style of the film is. I really want this film to be down and dirty, like the Michael Mann films of the 80's. I'd like to see the action just filmed clear and simple and edited simply, a good pace, like the old Steven Seagal films like Nico and Out For Justice. Violent, slick without being too flashy. I'm not a fan of MTV style editing trying to use every feature on the AVID editors. It's now become old hat.

Cheers, hope you can shed some light.

now just wait a freakin minute, am i the only one here that can see that it clearly says on dolphs site "messages chosen by DL will be regularly posted on this board"??? well its been a year- i dont call that regular. fine he`s been busy (aint we all) and i hope he and his family have a fantastic holiday in italy or wherever the hell hes gone, but before he went he could have spared 10 minutes just to post an answer to a few of his fans questions after all its his fans loyalty that keep his films selling or just ask someone to do it for him( how about his smarmy manager).
sorry for moaning guys but im pissed off with him right now, if he wasnt so damn sexy i would never forgive him.
