Dolph is wrapped for his part, sounds like it went well, should be fun.

So it's alreaday finished ?
Re: A MAN WILL RISE (Tony Jaa, 2014) (filming)
Dolph is finished, not the movie I don't think (which is why they to do the press conference while he was still in Thailand, though it's rare for these movies that they're doing one during production).

Great looking artwork behind them, optimistic about this one and I love the title. Compare this Asian production to Tomb of the Dragon and well...there's no comparison.
"Are we having fun yet?" - Dolph Lundgren, Universal Soldier
Re: A MAN WILL RISE (Tony Jaa, 2014) (filming)
does anyone know how it ends ? Cause when you see the title or that it was a "action comedy" I have the impression that at the end the group of mercenaries will switch sides and go with the villagers

Do you know how long Dolph filmed for this one?Jox wrote:Dolph is wrapped for his part, sounds like it went well, should be fun.

In thaï filmmaking it might be quite enough.
With Jaa directing, we can at least be sure it will have a solid directing and a good cinematography, good action sequence. I'm looking forward to the script, but I'm quite confident in this one (and Thailand is one of my favorite country in the world, so it'll be good for sure

I believe they say it cost 150 million Baht (€4 million or $5.2 million) and could go up to 200.

Sawat Di Khrap , and Kop Khun Khrap (that's all for me
). It's a nice budget over there.
@jox : Thaï-cinema speaking, you should watch "Midnight My Love", I think you should like this movie.
