From actor/producer Gianni Capaldi:
Cung Le, the hero, takes on Dolph Lundgren's lethal gang which includes his trusted general Capaldi who is torn between love for Briana Evigan and his duty to the gang. Vinnie Jones also stars.

Oddly one of the producers, Phillip B. Goldfine, is one of the partners at Steven Seagal's company Steamroller Productions.

Again, looks very low budget but Cung Le means fights and plenty of them - glad Dolph did this one, it's always more exposure in something that won't get totally lambasted (i.e. ITNOTK2)

The movie was in development hell and was green-lit because Dolph agreed to be in it, which earned him a producer credit.

The last two stills in the corridor make me think they may have done a series of fights in long shots like in THE RAID or the last two UNISOL movies.

Interesting, same budget as BOR?
Long corridors are always cheap to film in and usually look pretty nice if the fight scene in done properly. There was a chunk of Austin/MJW's Tactical Force set in a long corridor too.

Probably.
and what this film talking about ?

The plot hasn't been revealed precisely but basically John (Cung Le) takes on the gang of lethal baddies led by ex-con(vict) Hollis (Dolph Lundgren). Briana Evigan plays the love of one of Dolph's henchmen (Gianni Capaldi). Cung Le also describes A CERTAIN JUSTICE as an "action drama", to the point of comparing it to a cross between FIRST BLOOD and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN...

An Asian man named John. Brilliance. Pure originality right there.
I think comparing it to First Blood and No Country for Old Men might be slightly laughable haha.

At least it means he wants it to be to more than a meaningless and generic action flick.

It's like John Woo. For you, he's not asian, too ?
