It's a dopey movie but there is a novelty seeing Lundgren in a flick like this. Like savage mentioned, there are some funny parts that revolve around the over-coddling of kids today. If the film was based more around that premise it could have been much better. It's when it focuses on the policework and flash drive where it falls apart.

The Twix product placement is indeed weird. I guess it's an easy way to get money towards the budget for something like this. Maybe Lundgren can raise some funds for WANTED MAN by having his character addicted to Red Vines.

Oddest part is when Lundgren's class plays "Capture the Flag" against the hot teacher's class. The hot teacher struts around in a blouse that appears to be missing several buttons. Interesting choice.

Better than RIOT though.

While 40+ actresses get a tough time in Hollywood, it seems even worse in the realm of genre DTVs, and while Dolph are maturing, their female co-stars are not only too young but often cast based on their stereotypical bimbo looks (and probably their network of agents as well) which is a shame.

I'm glad Kristina Klebe from DON'T KILL IT is not only older but seems to have more depth. Stefani von Preteen from ICARUS was also pretty good even though relatively young. I always wished Dolph would deeper romances and more charismatic and mature actresses to work with when it comes to play (where are the likes of strong, beautiful actresses like Madeleine Stowe or Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio?!). Even when Dolph co-starred with an artsy and acclaimed actress such as Maruschka Detmers in THE SHOOTER, the script/film didn't live up to its promisses especially in the romance department... You can have have strong, emotional romances in hardcore action films (which can make one even better).

I don't know if this kind of product placement brings much dough on a DTV though ?

It's when it focuses on the policework and flash drive where it falls apart.

Always sounded to me like a pretty weak and old MacGuffin gimmick to begin with.

Another review that's not too bad:

Japan release August 3, same day as SHARK LAKE, or the other way around. I notice this is at least the third time there are two DL releases the same day in the archipel.

I enjoyed it. It's not particularly good but it's fun. I did laugh out loud a couple of times.

I had a look in a couple of supermarkets near me and KC2 didn't appear in the charts. A few of D's recent films haven't, but I expected KC2 to be in the charts. I've not checked my local HMV though. I suspect they will have it but not as a charting entry.

Isn't it a bit early yet? I think the UK release date was barely a few days ago...

The 23rd and normally new releases go straight into the chart.
That said there's some other stores I can check.

Wow...
BBFCINSIGHT PUBLICATION DATE 13/05/2016

Note: The following text may contain spoilers

KINDERGARTEN COP 2 is a comedy sequel about an FBI agent who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to solve a crime.

SEX
There is a brief verbal reference to a man being addicted to pornography. There are also references to causal sex, including uses of the terms 'one night stand' and 'hook ups'.

VIOLENCE
There are several scenes of action violence in which characters are punched, kicked or shot. The violence remains largely undetailed, without any sight of blood or injury.

DISCRIMINATION
A character uses the term 'retarded'. The use of discriminatory language is quickly criticised and the work as a whole does not endorse its use.

There are uses of mild bad language such as 'bitch', 'ass', 'shit', 'god', 'damn', 'butt' and 'jerk'
