Rated by the MPAA in February (R "for bloody violence throughout"), it will be released in the US through Saban Films (BLACK WATER).

And hopefully it will get a Blu-Ray release as well. Thanks for the update, I've been debating getting the German version, I'll wait a little longer.

US release in limited theatres and VOD on May 3
(I assume Lionsgate may take over the DVD/Blu-ray release as they did with BLACK WATER)

I was hoping this one would go unnoticed or without any publicty, but people are talking about it, and given the quality of the movie, it's kinda of the shame that the post-Creed 2 buzz will be this one :(

That's the problem today, one kinda "majorly" followed site posts a news and the whole words copy/paste it during the following days...

This also shows random those limited theatrical releases can be since DEAD TRIGGER certainly isn't the first title that comes to mind when it comes to DL films that deserved a better visibility.

And that’s precisely why I imagine Saban Films snatched this one up. They saw the year that Dolph had, noticed that TRIGGER was still yet to be released here in the States, and I imagine they thought that they could ride on the coattails of CREED II and AQUAMAN’s success. Considering that this one sat for awhile, I even wouldn’t be surprised if they got it on the cheap...
