Doesn't know yet if it's past footage or a brand new cameo.

They used this 1990 Swedish interview with a fake translation/subtitles:

Andy Samberg & Murray Miller Return To HBO With Sports Doping Mockumentary
http://deadline.com/2016/07/andy-samber ... 201787292/
Andy Samberg and Murray Miller are following up on the success of their 7 Days in Hell, teaming up again with HBO to develop their second sports mockumentary, Tour de Pharmacy, with Samberg set to star.

Written by Miller, Tour de Pharmacy will take a look into the rampant doping in the world of professional cycling. Samberg and Miller will produce via their Legends of Sport banner. Both executive produce alongside David Bernad. M Elizabeth Hughes will also produce. Jake Szymanski will direct and co-executive produce.

The project is currently being cast, but so far Samberg is attached to star as one of the competing cyclists, along with Daveed Diggs, Julia Ormond, Phylicia Rashad, Will Forte, Dolph Lundgren, John Cena, Mike Tyson and Nathan Fielder.

This project marks the second collaboration with HBO for Samberg and Murray and their Legends of Sport production shingle.

Sounds cool if they got it right...
(thanks to Dude Hallenbeck for pointing it out)

That's good news. If he gets in the Andy Samberg circle, he can gets nice comedy offers.

Seems it was filmed:

Last Friday my husband’s old karate friend, Dolph Lundgren, invited us to a film shooting in Beverly Hills. It was the comedian Andy Samberg and Murray Miller’s film Tour de Pharmacy filmed and director was Jake Szymanski. The film is a follow-up on Sambergs and Murray’s tennis satire ”7 Days of Hell” for HBO.

Tour de Pharmacy will be about steroid use in professional cycling and the like ”7 Days of Hell” include big names in comedy, sports and film.

Dolph works a lot and has played in over 50 films since his debut. Most roles he have had is as an action-hero but the last few years he has begun to do some comedy. Last year, he starred in the movie Kindergarten Cop 2.

It was an intimate movie shoot with just our family and Jenny except the crew. Extra fun thought our son it was to meet one of his favorite stars Andy Samberg and our daughter had seen the film, Mike and Dave need wedding dates as Jake Szymanski directed. My husband and I had probably most track on Saturday Night Live with Andy Samberg and Jake Szymanski directed and Brooklyn Nine-Nine where Andy Samberg was the star and Jake Szymanski was the director.

In the evening we went out and had dinner with Dolph and Jenny at our favorite steakhouse Mastro’s in Beverly Hills. Fantastic restaurant with live music, good food and super service. Tastiest meat you eat here. After dinner Me and Tom had a drink at the bar in The Bazaar by José Andrés which is located next to the hotel SLS Beverly Hills where we stayed. Super cool bar with a funky decor and great drinks.

Fantastic kind of project for Dolph to join. Give him a chance to actually try something new, have a bit of fun and hopefully do some good networking.

I wonder if Dolph shares any scene with Orlando.

As far as I know Dolph already shot his part (probably just a cameo) in L.A. before Orlando Bloom was even cast.

Andy Samberg interviewed by the LA Times
How are things going with your next HBO comedy, your mockumentary on doping in cycling, “The Tour De Pharmacy”?

They're going wonderfully. I'm actually at the office editing today. We're really excited. I think we're looking at this summer. I don't think HBO has decided officially yet, so I'm not making any announcements, but I'm hoping that is what happens. It's coming along. It's really funny. We've got a crazy cast, once again.

There are five primary cyclists. There's Orlando Bloom, there's Daveed Diggs, there's John Cena, there's Freddie Highmore and there's me. Three of those five are very good at cycling. I'm not going to say who the two are that aren't as good, but they might be the last two.

Was there a lot of training for it? Or at least a spin class to break the ice?

No. I mean, Orlando is actually someone who cycles in his spare time. James Marsden is also in it, he plays the part of a reporter, and he also has done a lot of like semi-professional cycling. The two of them really set the bar. Then Daveed and Cena are just natural athletes. We just hit the ground spinning. I want to say "We all did SoulCycle," or something, but no, there was no such training.

Here's the wacko trailer! Tour starts July 8 on HBO

About

In 1982, during a dark and fictitious time in cycling history, the sport’s most venerable, time-honored race was marred by the doping of virtually all of its competitors. Riddled with nefarious characters, that year’s competition was a hornet’s nest of moral depravity. Through the perspective of five riders, Tour de Pharmacy gives an inside look into the grim realities of the darkest event in a sport notoriously tainted by controversy.

Starring and executive produced by Andy Samberg (Brooklyn 99; HBO’s 7 Days In Hell), and written and executive produced by Murray Miller (King of the Hill; HBO’s Girls), Tour de Pharmacy, a fictional, none-too-serious look at this sordid competition, debuts during the second weekend of the 2017 real-life Tour de France.

Among the notables making appearances in Tour de Pharmacy are: John Cena, Daveed Diggs, Orlando Bloom, Freddie Highmore, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover, Julia Ormond, Dolph Lundgren, James Marsden, Kevin Bacon, Nathan Fielder, Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Joe Buck, Mike Tyson, J.J. Abrams, Phylicia Rashad, Chris Webber, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and others.

Tour de Pharmacy marks Samberg and Miller’s second collaboration for HBO, following the 2015 mockumentary 7 Days In Hell.

The special is directed by Jake Szymanski; written by Murray Miller; executive producers, Andy Samberg, Murray Miller, David Bernad and M Elizabeth Hughes; co-executive producer, Jake Szymanski.

7 DAYS IN HELL was only 43 minutes so this could be around the same running time unless they got enough joke material to make it feature-length...
