I think the movie trailer was kinda brutal... but it could be that they've had already used the best scenes out of that movie...
'll have a look at it next time.
In hope for someone who could replace the real Dolph one day if he's (hopefully not as soon) out of business...

I ordered the Greek DVD which arrived yesterday in my mail box.

Here is the review I was about to post on the website:

"Direct Action" is well worth of it name: gunfightings and hard-core hand fights are playing all along one of the most violent films that Dolph has made in recent years (it kind of reminds me of the early Seagal's movies). The story is less phony and more suspenseful than "Detention", and the chemistry between Dolph Lundgren and Polly Shannon works wonderfully. Just don't pay attention to details or the low budget and just go in for the action to enjoy it...

btw the Greek DVD edition is not bad: it has a nice picture (widescreen), and includes a making of featurette (18 minutes), interviews of Dolph, Shannon and Furie (5 minutes each), behind the scenes (16 minutes) and trailer

The DVD is in english (with optional subtitles), I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't.

Direct Action

The new pics look good. Looks like Dolph is using some karate in this film. Wonder when this will be released.

Yeah..
the pics and the storyline kinda reminds me of that old Chuck Norris flick directed by Andrew Davis.. wich don´t rememer he name of at the moment, any how.. that movie is about this cop who goes after his corrupted collegues and it´s acctually pretty good (Chucks only good one at my count).

Well that was alot of bull over nothing.
Direct Action looks like a hard core action flick with a cool story (unoriginal but cool). I like the fact that Dolph is kicking some ass with his bare hands and feet. Let´s hope for alot of that stuff.
I don´t have a lot of trust in Sidney Furie tough.

All three Dolphmovies up ahead look cool to me (Direct Action, Rerogade, Defender).

then you'll be happy with this one 'cause Dolph really kicks the bad guys' ass (and he gets hurt a lot too), breaking arms and more...

^Preacher:
I even thought about thesame thing some hours ago... :
There was made a movie in 1992 with Chuck Norris and Jonathan Brandis... had to do with karate and general fighting sports... the movie was called "Side Kicks" if you meant this.
