Pendred with Dolph and JCVD pic

And that's a wrap!
It's been an amazing experience working with the cast and crew of this movie for the past few weeks. #BlackWater

By the way, from Dolph's recent interview and contrary to popular belief, it sounds like it was a Van Damme vehicle before Lundgren got on board...

So, ManlyMovie claim to have seen a trailer for the movie, and they describe it as "best trailer in years".

Definitelly interesting.
Do you have any idea what it can be, Jox? Some early distribution trailer? Interesting that ManlyMovie were allowed to see it, though.

It indeed looks like an early trailer (some stock footage here and there), but it's mostly enjoyable despite its crappy quality. Dolph is definitely a supporting character, but the movie in itself looks okay (serious tone, fast pace and interesting setting).
Let's see if it goes beyond the trailer.

Here's a trailer posted just a day ago. I'm assuming this is for sale to distributors. Looks like it has fairly decent production values:

A crew member tried to clear things up on Vandammefan.net regarding Allan Ungar's involvement in the project:
I think it's funny that people are still discussing this even after some of the crew tried to clear it up on forums. I'm wondering why there's such an obsession with it. Here are the facts based on my working for part of the film and keeping in touch with the producers. Hopefully this ends the discussion lol People can DM me if they want more.

- Ungar was hired to rewrite the scrip (called Submerge) and to direct because Van Damme liked his last movie . After the script was done, he dropped out because scheduling conflicts.
- The DOP PaTriki was asked by him to take over. Ungar only showed up on certain days and helped with action.
- His main contribution was directing this big outdoor shootout sequence that takes place at the beginning of the film and runs for 5-10 minutes. (the BTS video someone just posted is part of that sequence)

- I can confirm that he edited the trailer that's online but is not involved in the film anymore. I'm not sure why.

I also have the original script and the one that he did. They are night and day difference. Happy to tell people more if they are interested in those.

Yeah, the "Allan Unger on set" thing happened in the middle of the shooting. He arrived days after the start of the start, and left days before the end. He was somewhere there in the middle.
Don't know what the big thinking about it. Pasha directs it (the bigger part of it atleast) and that's why he gets the director credit for it.

Just shows you that people can often come off as rather pretentious or like wannabe "know-it-alls" when it comes time to review a new movie and when those who have knowledge of the productions and it's troubles can confirm that multiple people worked on one key position and also deserve credit or were replacements.

Overall, I have confidence in this and am always glad to see veteran villain character actors Patrick Kilpatrick and Al Sapienza (House of Cards, xXx 3, Mikey on The Sopranos) getting work. That trailer looks intense and like just the kind of flick I crave on a daily basis. I also did the lighting in general and am Facebook pals with this film's co-writer Chad Law, who many here in Dallas, TX worked with on the zombie survival film he helped pen, called Daylight's End, with Louis Mandylor (who was with Dolph in One in the Chamber) and Lance Henriksen; currently showing now on Starz premium cable.

I also mistook female lead Jamine Waltz for NCIS and Sniper franchise star Mercedes Mason due to her resemblance.I can't wait to see how it turns out.
