Oh trust me Jox people are getting tired of it here in the states as well. I'll be honest I've only seen a handful of these genre (superhero) type films over the last 10 years and I never would have watched Aquaman had DL not been cast in it.

I think some of the love for the film comes from the audience appreciating just how incredibly silly and over the top James W took it.
