To see Dolph in red, it's still weird.
Now, for the rest, at certain times, I think we will believe ourselves under the sea : we will hold our breath lol

dude hallenbeck wrote:I'm mixed on that trailer. Some of it looks like pure epic fantasy, but some of it looks hokey as hell. Like an episode of power rangers or something.

It looks cool (a bit much for me on some of the action with Black Manta notably for me but I'll survive!), what I'm not sure about is the type of humour, banters, punchlines between Arthur and Mera, does it still works in 2018?? I do appreciate Momoa a lot but he's not Indy's Harrison Ford and Amber Heard isn't Karen Allen or Kate Capshaw (but then again I'm not of the 2018 audiences generation)...

Well, this second "trailer" kinda blew some cold for me. :( Except for Dolph, it seems like a generic CGI-fest with too much cartoony images. I'll be seeing this in cinema anyway, but my excitment is a little bit down for this.

i don't know, i loved the trailer. the action looks cool, especially the fight scenes. very nice to see dolph in really a-list studio movie again. if he delivers he can become a regular supporting actor for this kind of big-cgi-fun movies which is cool. billion times better than being in sarrafini movies.

The beard is fine with me but I think they could've gone with a better hairstyle for him. Maybe pulled back more like Patrick Wilsons.

I also agree with TEMIRLAN... if this movie does well and I'm sure that it will perhaps James Wan uses Dolph in more of his films ala Patrick Wilson. Also word of mouth from Wan to other directors/producers would be good for the D-man as well.

Eve, if not a mega-blockbuster à la AQUAMAN, if Dolph's performance and 2018's Ivan Drago is special enough in CREED II that could be particularly beneficial as well, if not more, to get interesting offers for singular projects and/or dramatic roles.

I think Drago is probably the juicier role of the two... but Nereus maybe end up being the more high profile role for him. The extended trailer has generated some really positive buzz for the film. I hope Dolph gets a decent bit of screen time.

In China, Aquaman received an early December 7 release date, two weeks ahead of domestic.
