The problem with IMDB now is that anybody can submit photos, and they don't check well because you can even find fan-made stuff...

At worst, even if it's from Justice League, it gives an idea of what aquaman would give

Yes, although from my understanding, both the costume and the film look of AQUAMAN will be fairly different from JUSTICE LEAGUE's.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II on AQUAMAN for GQ

Speaking of Aquaman, how’s it all going?

It’s going great. The scale is epic and this movie is going to be so good! I can’t say too much, but in the hands of [director] James Wan and with Jason Momoa at the helm, I think people are going to be really happy with it.

You play villain Black Manta. Have you had to bulk up?

Yeah. It’s been about five days a week in the gym and doing fight training, too. I have a love-hate relationship with working out. I do not enjoy the experience when I’m doing it, but I never regret it.

I think I’m in the best shape of my life.

Enjoying your time filming on the Gold Coast?

It’s just so low stress. I love it and have been telling everyone that if they ever get the chance they should come visit.

I kind of assumed all of Australia was like the Gold Coast – so I was telling people Australians just work out and go to the beach. Like, Australia has it figured out! But then I went to Sydney and it was nothing like the Gold Coast – but I still loved it.

There’s a lot going on in the States at the moment. Nice to get away?

It is. I enjoy the chance to take a physical break – and a mental break. It’s really given me the opportunity to have some perspective. But you can’t let it stay that way for too long because you risk becoming inactive about the things you care about.

But I don’t miss the political messiness of what’s going on over there.

That hook (Which Wan mentioned wont be used) is based on the 1990's Aquaman comics that made the character more popular to general audiences and the primary inspiration to Zack Snyder casting Momoa and designing the character.

King Nereus and Mera in the comic, but it seems they used a different relationship for these two characters in the movie (father and daughter if I'm right)
