I heard and read the opposite so who knows...

The first trailer or teaser should be shown tomorrow at Wonder Con and hopefully will be unveiled online as well...

EDIT:
The person spreading the rumor wasn't at those screenings, and just "heard" negative things, so it's not more relevant than the first-hand positive comments from people who actually saw the tested cut:
Forbes writer Mark Hughes, who has stated that: “Some people heard positive things. Me, personally, I’ll go ahead and just say: Honestly, I’ve heard some negative things. I think there are some issues to be resolved. There are some things to be worked out with Aquaman.”

https://www.flickeringmyth.com/2018/03/ ... -resolved/

The big question in any case is whether or not James Wan will have his way and be able to finish the movie himself even if he's asked to do certain modifications...

Just FYI Batman News, Jeremy Conrad, Mario F. Robles and Mark Hughes are not reliable at all. Reporting on DC movies is often inaccurate as hell and always just unfounded rumours that spread like wildfire and I've even spoken to an A list director un-related to any comic book films (Beyond making one a long time ago) who confirmed to me people like that are like Fox News and have a certain agenda to push. It's best to just wait and see the film for yourself.

Or like TMZ... Well said.

James Wan debunks the trailer rumors and gets some facts straights:

we can say that he will have his diary well filled in the next months, between Aquaman and his reshoots, Creed 2, Expendable 4 and other DTV. Not to mention the film release campaigns

I'm kinda glad he's making reshoots / additionnal shoots for Aquaman. It can either mean people liked him in the preview, and it also mean we can get to see more Dolph in the movie (yeah, even if these additional shoots are for "pickup" plans or ensemble plans, but let's keep our hopes high ;) )

Let's wait for more news and "real" confirmation production to start, since it's still up in the air and much can happen within the next months. Dolph is even in a position this year where he could turn it down if he's not up for it (which he was already hesitant to do with EX2 and EX3)

However amount of screen time he'll have in the final cut, Dolph's character is crucial enough (and interacting with several of the main cast) that they can't take him out of the film.
I'm sure he gave his best and I'm hoping that Wan helped or pushed him in the right direction as well.

Snyder was first attached to direct and is "credited" as an exec producer (not sure he still had any real involvement in the production through).

Snyder was never attached to direct Aquaman. He developed the movie (alongside doing the same for Wonder Woman) and then brought on and handed off to Wan (Originally Jeff Nichols but he'd exited). A lot of the design, underwater photography and look of the movie was pioneered by Snyder on Justice League but Joss Whedon fucked up the post production big time as well as the portions of the film he shot, so none, or very little of it actually appeared in the film.

Snyder is also one of the big ones responsible for the failure of Justice League with his unreasonable decisions

I thought he was set to direct very early on a few years ago, even though Wan has been on it for a while now...
