(continuing the post above) ...and of course Dolph as a very nice guy (easy to be working with) and avoiding drugs unless Van Damme. with years Dolph is getting more and more charismatic. he is just fun to watch.

bomaz wrote:My advice is : keep your expectations kinda low in order to be more surprised. For the JLA movie, there was a big buzz after JK Simmons casting as Comissionner Gordon, and his part ended up just being a couple of minutes on only one scene (that you can see in the trailer, on a rooftop with Momoa and Affleck).
(But i'm excited too, don't get me wrong  )

For my part, it is James Wan's tweet hat makes me ask myself questions. And as long as we don't have explanations on his "Not quite villain" ...

He didn't tell me but from knowing him he knows better and usually doesn't get too excited, keeping his cool...

I imagine the $$ and massive appeal this movie will garner will help him with getting his other personal projects off the ground.

The only way this hurts him is if it bombs financially... and there's almost no chance of that happening while large scale studio cinema audiences are still very much in love with comic films.

Whether James. W can pull this off and deliver a decent movie is another matter... but studios and the money people won't care if it makes bank.

Wonder Woman & Justice League executive producer Charles Roven:
Aquaman will make reference [to Justice League]. There will be some reference of something that preceded Aquaman that will be in Aquaman. I believe that is the intention.

James [Wan] definitely knows where he's going with [Aquaman], and that movie takes place in a world where Justice League happened, and Man of Steel happened, and Wonder Woman obviously takes place before Man of Steel -- except for the bookends we have. So that's where we have the most ability to freeform. We could do a movie that takes place after Justice League, we can do a movie that takes place after Batman v Superman... well not really. You can't do a movie in between Batman v Superman and Justice League, but we can do movies that take place after Justice League and we can do movies that precede Justice League.

Given that Nicole Kidman hasn't started yet, Dolph still has plenty of time before starting his schedule. I'll worry if he still hasn't shot his part by november

For sure, I think it should be wrapped in September but I don't know if that early schedule is still accurate.

Nicole Kidman apparently just flew there. But it's so much studio work on these films it's hard to follow what's going on even though there's a few paparazzi shots that leak... I mean it's been 4 weeks they started shooting and not much has surfaced compared to like say an EXPENDABLES movie shot in Bulgaria where all the cast and crew post stuff on social media every day...
