Is Dolph teasing a return of the Dragos in Creed 3?
Florian has commented ”Time to bring that heat back!”.
Could be nothing but I noticed D did a similar thing with EX4: Posting a throwback pic of Gunnar just before the announcement.

Seems like it's not for "tomorrow" it actually happens:
I admit to Lundgren that after watching Creed II, it felt like Ivan and his son's story wasn't over. With the success of Cobra Kai, I wonder if there've been any rumblings about a potential cable series with the Dragos? It just seems like such an obvious idea to me that I’m just so curious…

And Lundgren doesn't disappoint. After smiling knowingly, he throws his head back and laughs.

“You’re on the money,” he admits. “It has been discussed. I don’t know what’s happening to it now, but MGM was interested to do it, so we’ll see.”

While that's on the back burner, Lundgren is keeping busy.

In tv series u can explore more aspects of characters giving more screen time . For theatrical u need to be in strict limit of 2 hour movie time and many subplots, scenes are abandoned in the cutting room floor. I am sure that Stallone was pissed that they deleted many of his scenes from this movie. Funeral scene, Drago Rocky hospital fight- it is bullshit when they say it was rushed filmed and not good, final peace scene between Drago, Victor and Rocky in the locker room. Michael B Jordan was the star of the movie, his director and they mainly decided. That is why i am not surprised why Sly refused to be in the 3rd movie. He gave Jordan a new career and the new star wants all the fame... Be thankful and don't forget who gave u the bread kid

At 57:48 mark:
Sly, what was your least favorite movie to act in? [...]
- CREED II.

- That was your least favorite to act in? why?
- Long story. But, that's one, and that's not for it because... It was just a bad time, I realised Rocky was ending, it was just not, it was very emotional...

I see why Stallone didn't want to return for Creed 3. Post- production problems with Creed 2 made him to quit. They basically deleted his character from the second movie giving the star Michael B Jordan all the fame.Honestly I think Creed movies never achieved what Stallone achieved with his Rocky franchise. Without Stallone co staring it would be a mediocre movie. Let's say the truth in the face without hates to each other. Creed 2 also made the box office of Drago name returning. U exploit just the same path twice. Without Stallone i do not know what Creed 3 should do to bring audience in theatre...

Maybe I understood it wrong but years ago he used to say Stop or My Mom will Shoot (1992) was his worst acting movie. I think he is wrong . That movie is a classic . Old school in it's way. He sais SONNWS at the beginning was intended to be something like Throw momma from the Train (1988), but they hired the nicest granny in the world (one of the Golden Girls) E. Getty. Anyway movie turned to be oK and classic. I wish Universal to release the Extended cut of SOMMWS with all the deleted scenes from the trailers and garbage truck chase chase in the art gallery.

I wonder how Dolph appereciated the final cut of this movie ? I understand he was happy to return and shine one more time as Drago on the big screen but process of filming is one and final result is something else

i think Dolph was not happy that they deleted that locker room scene with Drago and Rocky in the end. that scene would've made the movie better if they had left it. was an emotional scene to me.

"Disappointed" does not necessarily means "unhappy" (re. Dolph).

Him saying that was his least favorite movie to act in, to me, doesn't mean he disliked the entire movie (although he was definitely upset about some stuff being cut) especially if you listen to his response. The most recent production he was a part of and hated was Escape Plan 2 (although he said this during promotion of the third film, which was only slightly better than 2...) I do love that he talks a bit about Oscar in the interview which Is my favorite comedy film of his, but I'm getting a bit off-topic now

I Agree Escape Plan sequels are bad movies. He is barely present in this movies, maybe 20 minutes of screen time on each. They just capitalize on his name , nothing else. Oscar was was good comedy. Not original because it was a remake of Louis de Funès movie from '60s. Actually in late 80s-90's americans tried to copy many French movies, especially Pierre Richard and Depardieu movies like The Toy, 3 Fugitives etc directed some time by the same french director. Strange habit to re do your own movie ( like Veber did).
Dolph also need to make more comedies to practise in new genre..

There is an unconfirmed rumor that Florian Munteanu’s Viktor Drago returns in the currently-filmed Michael B. Jordan's CREED III.

Florian Munteanu filming without Dolph - father ? Hard to believe Dolph did not mention anything about Creed 3 in his last OLD SPICE interview from 2-3 days ago ... Or they decided to make young Creed and young Drago as new pals like Rocky became friend with Apollo after Rocky II ?

Munteanu is coming off Creed 3, where he reprises his role of Viktor Drago, the son of boxer Ivan Drago famously played by Dolph Lundgren. The character was first introduced in Creed II, the hit 2018 movie that also served as Munteanu’s feature film introduction.
