Given that Dolph wasn't announced when they started filming (in February), and given the number of star cameos (see link below, list non exhaustive) it's most likely a "real cameo" this time so a very brief one...

Geek / pop culture at its lowest, most vulgar and cynical denomination, where does it end?
How can this be so successful (which is the saddest part)?

I am not watching this thing...

But what is Olivia Newton-John doing here ? And the funniest part of the cast is Fabio Lanzoni. The last time I see him it's on the TV serie Acapulco H.E.A.T in the 90's !

Asylum movies aren't as cheap as they used to be it seems, although they're making savings on Tara Reid's salary as opposed to male lead (and charisma-less) Ian Ziering who was reportedly paid up to $500,000...

I didn't watch this, but from what I've read, it sounds like Dolph's role was a cameo that sets up a major role in the next movie.

God I hope not, this would make IN THE NAME OF THE KING 2 look like an Oscar contender next to it...

Here's a Dolph clip

no, it's just a parody movie. it wouldn't hurt his career.

That's not what I meant, I don't really care about that (I almost wish he wasn't so much in demand these days actually).

Um ... what is going on here? It's really hard to believe that Dolph is associated with this thing. I mean, it's really hard to watch the trailer, let alone the whole movie, let alone 4 movies before that to get to Sharknado 5, and now he is being set up as one of the main roles in part 6?

Also, Asylum are known for making mockbuster movies. Appereantly, this is a mockbuster role for Dolph. A time traveler from the future. Aka, the talk of him being Cable. Next year comes out Deadpool 2 with Cable, and Sharknado 6 will be next year for sure. So yeah.

Given how fast the twists seem to happen in these flicks, they can still not use Dolph in the next film or ditch him early, and I hope he will be too busy with CREED II or something else to accept a lead role in SHARKNADO 6...
