That ruined Blood of Redemption for me, otherwise it could have been a neat little thriller. There's no excuse, a box of blanks is 20 bucks here, even I use them in my films.

Unfortunately that's mostly how it's done now especially with a low budget, and maybe also for safety issues (plus I think that means not having to hire one or two additional weapon wranglers)...

Yesterday was Dolph's last day, and he took off to Philadelphia...

Co-star Marco Mazzoli seems to be pretty popular in Italy, and he's the son of artist Claudio Mazzoli who did some of the earliest 1984 concept arts and storyboard for MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE...

Totally not down with that. That seems to be the mark of these utterly cheap action films now. It's really gone to the dogs the low budget DTV market. You know when there's people on YouTube doing stuff for real and a movie with Dolph Lundgren doesn't have the budget to, it's pretty much game over. I'd be good with Dolph swerving starring roles and sticking to co-starring parts in bigger movies (more of which I hope come his way after the recent ventures) and directing his own passion projects. Although I understand to do any of those he probably has to take on these roles.

The DTV market has gone down the toilet, really decent ones will now be 1 out of 10, it is what it is and I don't really care enough to get angry anymore at this point (even though I'm sad about when I think about it or get to watch one). So I just take them as they come from my "historian" perspective/approach.

If I'm honest with myself I'd say gunplay is cheap and old anyway, I've seen almost 30 years worth of movie shootouts and rare are the ones that stand out in the past 15 years or more.

If I'm positive, I'll just say that from what I've seen of the locations and stuff, this one reminds me a bit of DIRECT CONTACT mixed with the Prague-located THE SHOOTER / HIDDEN ASSASSIN and the classic family-killed revenge type...

It seems they're planning on a fall 2018 theatrical release in Italy (DL's last two starring vehicles on the big screen there are THE PEACEKEEPER and SILENT TRIGGER).

Does look a lot like The Shooter in terms of locations. Reminds me of the wine cellar, the airstrip and the streets. At least they've shot this one somewhere a bit more visually intriguing than stuff like Hard Rush. I'm not that bothered about the action if the story is good in this one. I've missed Dolph leading a decent movie, stuff like Command Performance seems like an eternity ago. These days it's a few flitting scenes among other B-movie players.

Giorgio Serafini
My latest film is in Cannes. THE TRACKER written by Scott Mallace, Rab Berry & myself. Produced by Giorgio Bruno, Daniele Gramiccia and a few others! Wonderful experience in the South of Italy!

Cool another movie... another year wait for me to get it in my hands. But more Dolph is usually a good thing.

Let's take bets now. Will the helicopter in the poster appear at any point in the film?

Wow, I didn't even notice the one on the right.

I'm gonna bet neither one appears in the film. Stock footage doesn't count!
