The link does not say what region code this release will have (sometimes older movie re-releases are region free). Does anybody know whether the interview with Altieri is in English or has English subtitle? Does the booklet come in German only?

I believe it's gonna be Region B (Blu-ray) / 2 (DVD). The interview will be in English (and likely subtitled in German). Not sure about the booklet yet but in case it's translated in German I can always send you the original English text.

Apparently they're adding the original separate Music & Effects track on the new Blu-ray extras (my exclusive "massive" booklet liner notes + writer's interview) as well if I understand correctly 8)
And because we have already received it, was finally the isolated M & E track the added extras and any purist thus has the opportunity to experience the magnificent soundtrack also intense.

New beautiful screenshots!

A standard Amaray edition should come out later for those who only want the movie.

Comparison between the raw 2K scan from Super 35mm (full aperture) and the final master in 2.35:1 aspect ratio

Demonstration of Super35 mm (used here because cheaper than real anamorphic, which Mulcahy ultimately regretted since most video releases were pan & scanned), from open matte to intended 2.35:1 aspect ratio:

- Interview with Screenwriter Sergio Altieri
- Isolated Music & Effects audio track
