what is la Buftea? is it the city where it will be filmed? doesn't it also says when it will be shot? it also looks like it says something adapting the screenplay and trying the costumes...

Dupa cum ati aflat si din emisiunea lui Teo, celebrul actor de filme de actiune Dolph Lundgren a venit la Bucuresti, prin aceeasi companie a managerului Martinez, pentru a munci la un film la care este si regizor, si actor. Bucharest - ‘The Defender’, a full length film starring famous Dolph Lundgren (‘Universal Soldier’) and Jerry Springer (‘Jerry Springer Show’, one of the all time most popular shows) is now in the making at the MediaPro studios in Buftea.

Dolph is also the director for this movie. Having starred in over 20 films, the best known of which being ‘A View to a Kill’, in the James Bond series (where he debuted), followed by ‘Rocky IV’, alongside Sylvester Stallone, ‘Johny Mnemonic’, where he played with Keanu Reeves, and ‘Universal Soldier’, with Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph also produced ‘Penthatlon’. For the first time in his career will he be a director, as well, and for that he chose the Buftea sets.

A world magnitude sportsman, Dolph is the holder of the Karate black belt and was elected by the US Olympic Committee to lead the penthatlon team at the Atlanta Olympics. The Swedish has two masters degrees in Chemical Engineering and also acts in plays, founding the ‘Group of 8’.

In ‘The Defender’ he will be acting with renowned Jerry Springer. Arriving in Romania last week, Springer got together with Dolph and the crew and discussed the screenplay, checked out costumes, as the shooting schedule starts on Monday at Buftea.
