The Mechanik for me.
It looks better, is more polished, features better acting, better script, better action, better story.
The Mechanik rocks!

i prefer "the mechanik" !! more violent and "adult" .... and better visually !

I like THE DEFENDER but THE MECHANIK is a more complete film with more fleshed out characters. I'm going with that one.

I choose The Mechanik .What a great director!!!!!!!!He did a little miracle with a low budget.The score is also very cool.The Defender was ok too beeing the first movie he directed.

I must say The Defender, only just for casting here in Romania. But...I'd say The Mechanik.
