Out of curiosity, what are the features on the R1 dvd of Diamond Dogs? Is it just trailers or is there a featurette or somethign like on the Felon dvd?

For the Canadian release I got there's one trailer (the DVD opens with previews for other movies as well) and a quick making of that can be found on the American version as well. Difference is: American R1 only has the making-of, and not the trailer(s).

That's about it.

Yeah that's correct. My R1 has a slip cover which is not holographic but..yeno funky  it has a three minute making of and a digital copy.

Ok, I don't hate it and I don't love it. :?

They could have used a better main picture, but the background looks pretty action packed. And the back cover looks nice.

That's another very nice one which has at least a few questions that we haven't heard 100 times before. And I'm glad to read that Dolph agrees with us ;-) that 80's action heroes are coming back.

I plan on grabbing this and The Defender at my local video store when I cash my next paycheck. I also expect my new Silent Trigger copy to be arriving in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully this film will live up to my expectations in terms of action and whatnot, since this film's apparently a no-brainer.

Just for the halibut, does anyone think they could post a shootout from this film on YouTube or something?

Can't really think of any shootouts from the movie that would be worth posting online. Certainly nothing on the level of THE MECHANIK, THE DEFENDER, or even DIRECT ACTION. It was all pretty lifeless.
