That's a really good cover. I'm sure Sheldon Lettich will appreciate the little blurb about being from the Double Impact director!

Yeah much better than the UK dvd I've got which looks quite pieced together, pity about the movie...

One of the best things about THE LAST PATROL was the score by David Michael Frank (SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO, BEST OF THE BEST II, ABOVE THE LAW, HARD TO KILL, OUT FOR JUSTICE) which had a nice texture and sound about it.

It was a very odd movie...the monologue over the top was interesting (in that I very rarely think of monologues when I think about Dolph) but the whole thing was just plain weird. I did think it was quite funny at times though especially the bit with the policeman...it seemed he listed wanted everyone to be naked lol!

Oh and also did anyone get the 'Ben Stiller' vibe from the bad guy???? He acted like him, looks like him (in some of Ben's movies) and I had to keep telling myself it wasn't him! Anyway that was just something that popped into my head!

Just finished watching this on youtube lol. Eh..thought it was a okay...didn't understand the prison part like why the prisoners were worshipping Jesus. I did like the interaction between Dolph and Tamara (the little girl...thats her name..right?).

I was looking at the writers who wrote this (since you guys mentioned the writers were producers and didn't want a word changed). None of them really did anything after this movie...I do find it interesting one of them worked on the show Second Noah (it was a family drama on ABC in the 90s...I watched it) which starred Betsy Brantley who was in I Come in Peace/Dark Angel with Dolph :)

Sad news, Juliano Mer-Khamis, a respected Israeli actor and peace activist of both Jewish and Christian Palestinian descent who played the bad guy Jesus in TLP, was shot dead on Monday near the Freedom Theatre he founded in the West Bank of Jenin.

Really tragic!
Julianos work with The Freedom Theatre was truly something to look up to.
He was sort of a hero of mine.
I have friends who went there and worked with him (several swedish actors and drama-teachers do).
"Arnas Children", the documentary he made about his mother and the theatre (which she founded) is very touching.

Never seen The Last Patroland did not know that Juliano was in it. Sad way to find out.

I was quite upset when I read the news yesterday. Didn't realise he was in this movie though. It's so sad that the haters never die out. May the assassin rot in hell.

Just got the new Australian release of The Last Warrior. Apparently it came out in January but I don't buy that, never seen it around. RRP is only $5.00 at Big W (think Wallmart). It's 16:9 Enhanced, 1.85:1 and sports a stereo soundtrack. Print quality is superb, and that price is amazing.

Not the one we are most waiting for but German company Splendid Film will release THE LAST PATROL on Blu-Ray (region B) on January 27, 2012!

(at least from Splendid this should benefit a decent transfer)
